Ingredients

  • 450 g green grapes (seedless, washed and dried)
  • 85 g cherry Jell-O (or any red flavor)
  • 85 g lime Jell-O
  • 85 g lemon Jell-O
  • 85 g orange Jell-O
  • 60 ml water (for dipping)
  • 1 packet toothpicks or skewers

Equipment

  • Baking Sheet
  • Small Bowls
  • Toothpicks

Method

  1. Place grapes in the fridge for at least 30 minutes prior to coating – cold grapes help the gelatin stick better.
  2. Pour each Jell-O flavor into separate small bowls.
  3. Working in small batches, lightly dip a few grapes into water (or mist with a spray bottle).
  4. Immediately roll each grape in one of the Jell-O powders until fully coated. Use a fork or toothpick for easy handling.
  5. Place the coated grapes on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate.
  6. Repeat with remaining grapes and Jell-O flavors, alternating colors for variety.
  7. Chill the coated grapes in the fridge for 1–2 hours until set. Serve cold for the best sour-sweet crunch!

Notes

These Sour Patch Grapes are best served chilled, and you can customize the Jell-O flavors to your liking!
