Ingredients
  

  • 4 medium potatoes peeled and cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 green chilies chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 green onions chopped

Method
 

  1. Boil the potatoes until slightly soft. Drain and cool.
  2. Mix cornflour, all-purpose flour, red chili powder, and salt.
  3. Coat potato wedges in the flour mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a pan and fry the coated potatoes until golden brown.
  5. Remove fries and set aside.
  6. In the same pan, add green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, and onion. Sauté until onions are translucent.
  7. Add fried potatoes, soy sauce, and vinegar. Toss well.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust chili powder to taste.
  • Serve with ketchup or chutney.
